Place the ring guard on the inside of your ring.

Bend the arms into position to "wrap" your band.

Use your tool the "mold the arm" of the ring guard to the shape of the band.

Repeat the previous step for the other arm of the ring guard 

The arms of the ring size adjuster should now hold tightly to the band.

Use your tool to "wrap" the ring guard around the band applying pressure.

Repeat the previous step to wrap the remaining arm.

Your ring band now has it's size adjusted to fit a smaller finger.
